How to Set Up Smart IPTV (SIPTV) with TiviBridge

Step-by-step setup

1. Install Smart IPTV on the TV

   On an LG TV, open the LG Content Store, search for Smart IPTV and install it. On a Samsung TV, search the Apps section. If the app is not listed for your model, siptv.app offers an installation package you can load from a USB stick. Android TV owners can install it from the Google Play Store.

2. Note the MAC address

   Open Smart IPTV. The start screen shows a MAC address and a message saying no playlist is loaded. Write the MAC down or take a photo of the screen. This address belongs to the app on that TV, and it can differ from the network MAC in the TV's own settings menu, so always use the one inside the app.

3. Get your M3U link from TiviBridge

   Message TiviBridge on WhatsApp and ask for your M3U link for Smart IPTV. Mention whether the TV is a Samsung or an LG, and roughly how old it is. Older sets often play HLS streams more reliably, and we can send a link with HLS output. Keep the link private, because it contains your username and password.

4. Open the upload page on siptv.app

   On a phone or computer, go to siptv.app and open the My List page. Type the MAC address from the TV into the MAC field. Paste your TiviBridge M3U link into the link field. Leave the EPG country setting on its default, since the TiviBridge playlist already carries guide IDs for its channels.

5. Tick Keep online and send

   Tick the Keep online box, so the TV fetches a fresh copy of the playlist from our server each time the app opens. Channel changes then reach your TV automatically. Complete the captcha and press Send. The page confirms how many channels were added. If it reports zero, check the link for missing characters.

6. Restart the app on the TV

   Close Smart IPTV fully with the Exit button, or switch the TV off and on. When the app starts again, it downloads the playlist linked to its MAC. Channels appear in the groups named in the playlist, such as Germany, Polska, Nederland and Belgium. A large list can take a minute to load.

7. Activate after the free week

   Smart IPTV runs free for seven days from the first launch. To keep using it, open the activation page on siptv.app, enter the same MAC and pay the one-time fee of about €5.49. That payment goes to the Smart IPTV developer and unlocks the app on that TV only. It does not include any channels.

8. Adjust settings and the guide

   Open the app's settings screen to change stream type, audio track and subtitle options. If the guide runs an hour out, set the TV's own time zone to your city and switch on automatic summer time. Use the favourites option shown along the bottom of the screen to build a short list of the channels you watch most.

What the one-time activation fee covers

The activation fee of about €5.49 unlocks the Smart IPTV app on one TV, for as long as that TV keeps the same app MAC address. It is paid once to the app developer through siptv.app. It does not include channels and has no link to TiviBridge.

Keep three points in mind before you pay:

• One TV per activation. A second TV in the bedroom needs its own activation, because it has its own MAC.
• Use the trial week. The app runs free for seven days, which overlaps nicely with our 24-hour TiviBridge trial. Test both before paying for either.
• Channels are separate. Your TiviBridge subscription covers the channels. See the euro prices for each plan.

How the MAC upload on siptv.app works

Smart IPTV avoids typing long links with a TV remote. Instead, the app on your TV shows a MAC address, and you tell the developer's website which playlist belongs to that MAC. When the app starts, it asks the website for its playlist and loads it.

This is convenient, but it depends on typing the MAC exactly. The address uses the letters A to F and the numbers 0 to 9, in six pairs. A photo of the TV screen is the safest way to copy it.

The Keep online option matters more than it looks. With it ticked, the TV reloads the playlist from our server every time, so new channels and changed groups arrive without another upload. Samsung and LG: what to expect

Smart IPTV is most at home on LG webOS TVs, where it is usually listed in the LG Content Store. On Samsung Tizen TVs, availability has changed over the years, and some models need the USB installation method described on siptv.app.

Performance depends on the TV's processor. Recent mid-range and premium sets play FHD and 4K channels well. Budget models from several years ago can be slow to open large playlists and may prefer HLS streams. If your TV struggles, a streaming stick is often the cheaper fix than a new TV.

Smart IPTV compared with other TV apps

Smart IPTV is a good fit if you want an app directly on your Samsung or LG TV, with no extra device. If you want a richer guide, catch-up or recording, a streaming stick running a dedicated player usually does more for a similar total cost.

App prices are approximate and set by each developer. Whichever you choose, the same TiviBridge subscription works in all three.

Common errors and fixes

No playlist loaded after uploading

The MAC typed on siptv.app does not match the one in the app, or the app has not restarted. Compare both addresses carefully, since 0 and O or 1 and I are easy to confuse. Upload again, then close the app completely with Exit rather than just switching input.

Channels load but the screen stays black

The TV cannot play the stream format in the link. Ask us for the HLS version of your M3U link, upload it with the same MAC, and restart the app. Older Samsung and LG models from before about 2018 are the most likely to need this change.

Smart IPTV is missing from the Samsung app store

Samsung has removed and restored the app in its store at different times, and availability differs by model and country. The developer publishes a USB installation package and instructions on siptv.app. If that is too fiddly, a Fire TV stick in the HDMI port is a quick alternative.

Trial expired message on screen

The seven-day free period of the app has ended. This is separate from your TiviBridge trial or plan. Pay the one-time activation on siptv.app with the TV's MAC, then restart the app. Your uploaded playlist remains in place, so there is no need to send it again.

The channel list is too long to scroll

A full playlist holds thousands of entries, and scrolling with a TV remote is slow. Add your everyday channels to favourites and open that list instead. You can also jump between groups with the channel list menu rather than scrolling from the top each time.
